Cecilie Fang is an anti-disciplinary artist and writer from China and Denmark. Generated through writing, her process-oriented work unfolds across performance, publication, material micro-performativity, and installation.

Her practice is a continuous research—working through and with language. Raised between Mandarin, English, and Danish, she meditates on translation, language access, and how words are charged with history. Her work explores how meaning is produced, how it fails, and how it might be reinterpreted through speculative modes of languaging that resist dominant linguistic norms.
